The band as a whole kicks heavy duty ass!! You guys took over where AIC left off. I have a cover band and we know how hard it is to do a "simple" AIC song like dirt. You either have it or you dont. We dont I guess. But you guys certainly do. Check ya soon!

Im writing this post from NY but I live in California. My friends from Queens, NY brought me to see your band knowing how huge of an AIC fan I am. You guys have every little piece and detail to their music worked out. Its was enjoyable to say the least. Ive heard songs that I have never seen live (if that makes any sense). My question is if the members of ALICE IN CHAINS helped you guys out in any way as far as putting together the music. I read here that the guitar player knows Jerry Cantrell and did Jerry assist in any aspect of the band.(the guitar player plays Jerry perfectly). The rest of the band is great also, singing Layne has to be one of the hardest people to reproduce. I have always felt that the drummer in AIC is the most under-rated musician in history. Sean is just amazing and his beats have proven over and over again that he is a musicians musician! Anyway, LA could use a band like you guys and I know it would go over well, FACELIFT should consider that road tour because any club here would take you! Thanks for a great night of AIC! , DREW PS, I would go to your next concert but I leave back for LA on Wednesday....damn!

It was our first time seeing your band last night and now we guess we know what it felt like to see the real Alice in Chains band when they toured. It was incredible, we still cant believe how much you sound like AIC. My friends called me up even when we got home.......we were so wired and had such a great time. Its going to take me a few days to recover, but we will be back to see you very soon :)

Yellow guitars in an ALICE band? Pink pick-ups and a Chinese shirt? You guys dress like you belong on stage at the Mirage' with Penn & Teller! What happened to the dark looks and sounds of the Seattle grunge scene where flannels n shorts work? You guys dress like an 80's glam band with no hair. Tribute bands suck huge steaming wet piles of fresh donkey butt mud! Ibenez guitar, bc rich guitars, musicman, they all suck. gibson is best! fenders suck......prs rules! Cantrell aint never even looked at no ibenez let alone play one. Ibenez is a poor musicians noisy cover-up guitar that stays in tune for less then 3 minutes tops!

I put a post before this where I gave little known info about the first drummer who was in the project that would become AIC. The link that has the interview with that drummer, Jeffery McCormack is at http://www.bloodgood.org/band/jeffrey.html
BibleBlack <tbritt@portone.com>
Waterbury, CT USA - Sunday, March 31, 2002 at 20:39:12 (EST)

Some little known AIC info. The first Seattle drummer in what would become AIC was a guy named Jeffrey McCormack. He and Cantrell started the project together when they were both between bands. They played at a Rehearsal space and Staley would come by to sing sometimes but was still in his Pre AIC glam band. Then they started to play more but McCormick left the project and went on to join a band called Nightshade who release an album in Japan and later in the US. He currently is in a Seattle band called Bloodgood who had their own late 80's success and toured with bands like Stryper and other heavy acts. A current webpage is up where a streaming audio interview is where he talks about his AIC and Nightshade days along with pics of Nightshade and info on his current heavy rock act, Bloodgood.

I didnt make it to your show Saturday for the unplugged because I cant take that bar A-B's. Its the same guy that works at the Wreck Room and the place is just a dive and a half. If they sunk $80,000.00 into the place, it still would be a dump. Its USA TRASH HEADQUARTERS. I built better tree houses when I was a kid. I saw another band there after driving about 1 1/2 hours from south Jersey about a month ago. What a joke! Guys, if you want, I'll allow you to perform in my garage, charge a cover, and I bet it will be a better atmosphere then that place. Are you guys desperate? LMMFAOROTF!

Yes, Ange-B's is a little small. That's the main reason we wanted to do an Unplugged show, instead of the full Electric show. But, Ted & Dave, we REALLY appreciate that you came out, and hopefully you'll come to see us at another venue. I'd say L'Amours or The Wreck Room are the best places to see us, hope to see you guys there. Thanks again for all your support. TT

You guys are great and stay true to the real Alice in Chains, BUT THAT F**KING BAR IS FOR LOSER BANDS! Stay out of it,-- it sucks! Sound system sucks, view sucks, we would rather see you guys play @ the Paramus Park Mall! ANGIE BEE,S SUCKS REAL BAD AND I WOULDNT TELL ANYONE TO GO THERE AND SEE A BAND-YET ALONE HEAR ONE!

The band GOTHAM has the most incredible website! The graphics and easy accessability of options are kool ass dope! They got music and everything. This site rocks too but it gets to be hard on the eyes after a while. red and white aint the greatest colors. The bios kill me. Almost grammar school like. The latest news was in February and it is senseless. 5000,000 hits on a trubute website is kool and all that but.....I really dont care about it.
Champ
SOUTH, NJ USA - Thursday, March 07, 2002 at 18:29:43 (EST)
Yes, Champ, you're right, Gotham has a great site. It uses Flash though, and some Internet users (mainly AOL, or older browsers) cannot access Flash or the music properly. So I made our site a little more simple, that's all. Also, I think our Bios are pretty damn good! Gotham doesn't even have any personal/gear info about the individual members at all in their Bios! And Gotham's site uses Black, White & Green, which, frankly, is not that different from my Black, White & Red (ever been to Metal-Sludge.com? they seem to like the Black, White & Red combo too!). Also, cut me some slack on the news updates we're only 8 days into March! If there's no news to post, I don't post any, sorry! TT

Who's bitcin here? About your response to people that post here, did you re-read it? It sounds pretty stupid cussin out people who support your band. Hobby or job you guys have to remember that we pay to see you and you should be open to any kind of feedback -even if its not what you want to hear. If your so sick and tired of all the crying then you should fold up your website, pickup your ball and go home like a child would do. There is nothing wrong on this site in my eyes, but something more in vain of Alice couldnt hurt. I havent seen you guys in about a year because I moved to Maine. My advice is for you guys to lihghten up and take your"hobby" more serious.Alice is a serious thing and nothing to be joked about! CREED RULES TOO!

You duds are harsh man, the website is good -yeah it could use some advancement but it serves its purpose I guess. It gets boring after a while-maybe its the plain old Black and White look with a tad of red. Some AIC tunes(where there is chioce), new pics and video, and shit like that could spruce it up a bit. Its somewhat queer,,,,,,,,,the screensaver-I wouldnt use it(I wouldnt switch a bizkitscreensaver for a facelift one). One thing cool is that they leave the guestbook open and post all the messages wether good or bad. Other sites pull that gimmie your fucking whole life story and maybe we'll send you a password to post bullshit!

OK, OK enough bitching! Not that I have to explain this to ANYONE but here's the deal people: The B&W on the website is to keep a similiar look to our Press Kit, ads, flyers and other printed material. As for the rest of the website, I think it's pretty good, (I've been doing Corporate websites for over 5 years!) what the "F" do you people want? Microsoft.com?!?!!? This is a hobby for us, not our job! I'm sick of all this crying!! And we give props to AIC ALL THE TIME!!! We have their pix on our website, links, and music, there's nothing else to give you! You want more - talk to Layne or Jerry!!! What else would you want? Seriously - tell me, I'm not a mind reader, and I'll try to work it in. But sorry - the Black & White STAYS! TT

WTF? Unplugged?.WTF? Finally!!! So cool! You all better play every single song from the S.A.P. record. Its only 4 songs-can you guys handle that or is it too much too ask? Right Turn and Aint Right are 2 of the most meaningful songs ever written by any artist. Also, you should do Dont follow and Swing on This. I read an article a while back and AIC was suppose to do more songs but due to time restraints they were forced to scrap them. The article mentioned the songs but I forget them now. I have followed you guys since the days of MOTHERS in Wayne,NJ. The least you could do is play the requested songs I mentioned. Thanks guys, see you on the 16TH.

We saw you guys for the first time and it was awesome. We heard a lot of things about the band for a very long time and finally made it over to Lamours. I loved when you all played the song Sea of Sorrow. That is one of my favorites. Also Rotten Apple sounded really neat with that thing the guitar player has on his microphone. Hearing Queen Of The Rodoe was a definate change-I dont think any other band has ever done that song. You have found fans for life. You guys should send a mailing list around so we could find out band info. I have been following the band for like 3 years now through conversations with other people and Im very excited to say that I have finally seen the most unbelievable ALICE IN CHAINS band in the world! I dont condsider you guys a tribute band. I consider you guys ALICE IN CHAINS. I was Alice @ the Chance theater years back-I was a fan then too, they were great, full of piss and vinager, high energy and what not, but you guys definately sound just as good as they did. Saw you last in "STREETS" in New Rochelle, NY with that other singer you had, but the original guy you guys have back is much better. Anything coming by way of WESTCHESTER COUNTY? Hey. I have heard a lot of good things on the BB at aliceinchains.net. You guys have to take a trip down to Florida and play at a club called The Factory. There are lots of rock clubs down here. Another one is The Culture Room. People would love you guys...and I am dying to hear some live AIC tunes!

I now have 2 Alice in Chains cd's and Im having my friend burn me some more onto cd's. Rock it out here in Pa. their are some decent bars out here for showcasing bands and all. Keep it real, Carson

Just wondering if the band is into the original music scene too? Any band that does just Chains music must have a very interesting creative ability. The music industry needs bands to fill in for the missing Alice In Chains band. I didnt catch on here if you do or dont but if not, a proffesional try couldnt hurt. AIC is one of the greatest bands to surface that whole "GRUNGE" scene in Seattle. Their music is undeniable and will keep on top of all the copy cat bands that try so hard to emulate them. Ph

Facelift, You guys are my favorite tribute band in the tri-state area. I play guitar for a band called OCTANE here in Philly, and I was wondering if y'all would be interested in coming here to play with us. I caught you at the Wreck Room in Wallington (Jeff is a good friend of mine). Unfortunately, my schedule has kept me from being able to check you guys out other than that time. I am an Alice In Chains freak, and would be in my fucking glory to have you guys do a show with us. Drop an e-mail to me at our site(octanerocks.com), and let me know what you think. Take care, and next time, I want to hear "What the Hell Have I". Peace, Brian Quinn-OCTANE

R U gonna make it back to the Mass. area? The band is all that, glad to see your old singer has rejoined, didnt care much for the other guy too much, but he was ok. Rotten Apple would be a nice song to do and so would CONFUSION. That song has deep meaning. Layne is just killer in that song-but then again, he's killer in every song! Wonder whats going on with him? Do any of you guys know?-about Layne!---Layne who? From what band? rotflmmfao, later!

I'm here for the first time and I wish you r band could make it out this way. In order to call yourself a REAL AIC tribute band, you would HAVE to ADD the song "ROTTEN APPLE" to your show. Understand that it is a song that is the true AIC and any AIC tribute band that does not perform it isnt a TRUE AIC tribute band. I dont think Alice in Chains ever did it live, so that should give you all the more reason to do it, then you should record it live and put it on your website, people will come in here just to see/hear it. It would be the highlight of the show I know that much and all. Take it slow,Jake

IM AN AIC FAN FOR 8 YRS, FACELIFT FOR 7. BEEN READING THE POSTS ON YOUR BOARD AND I HAVE TO AGREE WITH SOME OF THE PEEPS IN HERE, DO "BROTHER" AND WHILE YOUR AT IT, DO "I STAY AWAY", "ROTTEN APPLE",QUEEN OF RODEO,KILLING YOURSELF. THESE ARE SONGS THAT NO OTHER BAND HAS THE F**KING ODASITY TO TRY AND PLAY LIVE! THIS COULD BE A NEW FACELIFT CHALANGE. THINK ABOUT A FAN REACTION IF YOU COULD PULL OFF "ROTTEN aPPLE LIVE! IT WOULD TOTALLY F**KING RULE DUDES! AIC ARE MUSICIANS, NOT REALLY SHOWMEN, SO FOCUS ON TUNES THAT ARE CULT CLASSICS PER SAY. THIS WOULD SEPERATE YOU FROM OTHER BANDS. YOU GUYS COULD POP IT OFF IN MY OPINION, THE DRUMER PLAYS THE SKINS JUST LIKE SEAN. IM A DRUMMER FOR 16 YEARS AND SEAN KINNEY IS A BAD ASS MUSICIAN, ANYONE THAT CAN PLAY LIKE SEAN, HAS TALENT LIKE MAD. THE SINGER SOUNDS LIKE LAYNE TOO AND THE GUITAR PLAYER JUST DOES JERRY PERFECT. JERRY IS UNDER-RATED AS A GUITARIST BUT HE IS BETTER THAN MOST, AND COULD WRITE A SONG WITH BEATLESQUE TYPE MEDOLEY. I'LL BE AT THE LAMOUR SHOW FOR SURE, I'LL FAINT IF YOU OPEN WITH "ROTTEN aPPLE OR I STAY AWAY! KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB GUYS, LAYNE, JERRY, SEAN & MIKE CONTINUE TO LIVE ON BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS!!! Hey, Cooks had some serious pu**y going on. Did anyone catch the blonde chick with the red streal on her hair? That girl had mad ass cow ti**ies. Her face wasnt that great but them fu**ing nips could of held a mounted buffalo head. Serious poontang! I saw some f**kin fat chicks too..ugly as a f**king puss bag. Im joining a band really soon and I want to pick up hard core rockstar chicks who want to screw like rabbits. There were a few wanna be H.A.'s like 10 guys and one harley d. They had them fat f**k shirts on. The girl I was with but aint dating,(but I tried to yolk that), met another girl there. I think she eats the brush.--F**king Dykes!!!, go figure it ? My cousin wants to see you guys next time but he is a f**king crazy lunatic and would probably get drunk and fight with someone. His wife is a piece of ass too! She has monster ti**ies and a sexy hore face, but that dont make her a slut! tear it up kids, cant go wrong with a nice hot slut on a real cold night with 10 bucks in your pocket. GRUNGETHEMUNGE
